Why one should never hire a forgetful designer...

  1. When I was in college, I stayed for a month in Sienna, Italy. The bathroom in it was rectangular, with the toilet and bidet at one end, the "open"-no-walls shower in the middle, and the sink at the other end. It was kind of weird, but kind of cool too. You could condition your hair and brush your teeth at the same time!

  2. It looks like a Japanese bathroom to me-the sink, tub,and shower are all in one big shower room with a shower door. The toilet has it's own room-they think having the toilet in the same room with the bath and shower is gross.

  3. Why is the mirror so dirty?

  4. My bathroom is like this. Well, a much cheaper version of this. You get used to it.

  5. I stayed in a hotel in Italy like this too! Except the toilet was so close to the shower you could...uh...do both at the same time.

  6. This is a very common bathroom layout in places where space comes at a premium price. You'll see this all over Asia and in parts of Europe as well.

  7. If this is what exist in other parts of the world, no wonder they think people in North America are all rich and spoiled!
